MegaCard is a Swedish plastic card company headquartered in Stockholm, with a sales office in Motala and a service bureau in Strängnäs. The service bureau has exclusively new machines that ensure a high level of quality and productivity. In order to reach optimal efficiency, the machinery was created based on the customer segments that are MegaCard's focus.
MegaCard's staff, which has solid experience in the industry, is the company's most important resource. A few of our most important areas of expertise that can be mentioned are card design, raw card production, production technology, project management, RFID, quality, logistics and distribution.
Delivering what we promise is one of MegaCard's most important objectives, which is why we always perform a very careful and detailed review of each assignment prior to its commencement. It is because we perform prognosis planning for our production a year in advance (ongoing basis) down to customer/machine level that we are able to achieve a stable flow and good control. As a part of our efforts to encourage employee development and to increase motivation and pride, we have produced a program that includes 3-year development plans for all employees, joint profit sharing no matter what the employee's position, management group meetings in which everyone participates and ongoing support to Save the Children, SOS Children's Villages and the World Wide Fund for Nature. All employees are comprised by a fitness program that includes fitness and health activities during working hours, a contribution towards a gym pass and free doctor visits.
Our ambitions are high, and we are working towards being designated what is known in Swedish as "det goda Företaget ("The Good Company"). The question must be asked, however, whether we have any other choice? We are working towards being a company that is good for customers, suppliers, staff, relief organizations, our owners and the various segments of society.
